Dance x Drum x Namahage

Atsushi Takashi is a famous dancer that performed with Dragon Ash, a popular band in Japan. His dance is transformative art - reminds me of butoh. More info here: https://atsushi-takahashi.com/

OxNxDxA is a spectacular Namahage taiko group. Namahage are local mountain deities that watch over the people of Oga.

Keno will be joining in the act, so prepare to let loose, have fun and get carried away with him!

Tickets are ¥2000. Doors open at 4:30. Performance begins at 5:30. Dairyuji is within walking distance of Oga station. There is also a large parking lot at the temple.

We decided to host this performance during our weekend mindfulness retreat to bring the power and vibrancy of dance, drum and namahage as a tool to be present in the moment.

We are so excited!
